Travel makes one modest.
You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.

Himachal which means the home of “Snow” is a beautiful state in India.
Let me take to all to this wonderful trip to Shimla Kufri and Chail in Himachal Pradesh which was planned on occasion of wedding a a colleague of mine. Me and 5 other friends from office had planned this trip and we took bus for Shimla from R.K. Ashram, Delhi. It was an overnight journey and we got down at Kandaghat, which is a small town and tehsil in Solan district of HP situated on Kalka-Shimla National Highway 22.

One can reach Kandaghat via Bus or by Toy train which starts from Kalka.

Toy train of Shimla offers great views of pine covers hill tops, flora and fauna and is basically best mode of transport if you are really keen to seen the real Shimla and its treasuries. You can book train tickets from here.

Due to rush, we couldn’t get the tickets thus we decide to reach Kandaghat via Himachal roadways volvo bus.
Anyways, may be next time i would be able to experience this beautiful train journey.

Kandaghat, Solan, H.P.

Next early morning we reached Kandaghat and roam around the place to see the beauty of this place.
We went to Kandaghat station which is a stoppage of the Kalka-Shimla Narrow gauge train. It was a beautiful site. This railway line has 102 tunnels and tunnel number 33 is longest (3752 feet). We even saw the train arrival and departure by chance. We also roam on the railway line and had adventures.

Sadhupul Valley

Our next destination from Kandaghat was “Chail” so after having breakfast, we left for it in a car. On way we saw flock of sheep and then we reached this beautiful valley name “Sadhupul”.

Sadhupul is a small village in dhalta in HP b/w Solan and Chail. River “Aswini” flows via this village and a small bridge is built on this river for vehicles to cross.
On our way, we crossed this bridge too and i was amazed with the view. Though water was very less in the Ashwini river still it was mesmerizing.

I could have spent a while day there sitting and enjoying water flow.

°°° °°° Isnt it relaxing on the shore of a pahadi river on a beautiful rock, looking and searching 🔎 for a beautiful moment to freeze, dipping your feets in chilling fresh water, to let the refreshing fresh air blow your hairs? The most alluring thing, that is, nature is missing in Urban life. There is a jungle in cities which doesn't consist of trees but concrete, there is more pollution than air. Mountains ⛰ are serene beautiful and alluring. Go n experience the beauty of them. PS: People go to mountains for peace and serenity but what they do is dropping plastic here n there and disturbing the eco system of mountains. Pls don't do that otherwise our beautiful mountains will be no where different than our metro cities. °°° °°° #himalayancat #himalayangirls #shimlalife #hillstation #indiapictures #beautifuldestinations #incredibledestinations #incredibleindia #uttarakhand #uttarakhandbeauty #uttarakhanddiaries #Shimladiaries #scribavelling #scribaveller_neha #kandaghat #sadhupul #himachal #beautifuldestinations #dpeg #dpeginsta #solotravelingisfun #shoutoutmenimit #monochromeindia #shotononeplus #awesomehimachal
