“A city is not gauged by its length and width, but by the broadness of its vision and the height of its dreams.”

Herb Caen

Urban cities these days are nothing but a concrete jungle. There are sky scrappers, buildings, offices and people. On the name of development, we have destructed the nature. To make roads, we cut down the trees and now we complain about no shade on roads. I feel really sad about it. We are so involved in technologies that we have forget about our mother nature.

Cities are no doubt beautiful too but we have paid a great cost to develop them. We live in chaos of cities and office works all the time. I read something somewhere 2/3 days back and i found it so accurate. Let me share. The picture said “Machines are learning and humans are hooked” #Artificial intelligence.

It is getting really difficult to enjoy mother nature and its miracles for people who lives in metro cities of world. There are no sunrises or sunsets views, the pollution is killing residents slowly be it Air pollution or sound or water. Eatables are either full of chemicals or artificially created or highly processed which is even worse situation.

Anyways, whatever happening is going to continue and we somehow can’t even stop it but still we can do a bit of our share by doing small things like not using plastic, save animals and trees and go green.

I am here sharing a painting of a urban skyscrape which depict the partial sunset view seen b/w two tall buildings. This is what is called as life in a #Metro. The painting is created by my husband.

The reference to this idea was a picture he had saved from somewhere so we don’t know who is the owner of it.

The DIY video link to this painting is below.
