Meditaing Yogi

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”

Jason Crandell

Hello my crafty friends. Today’s post is a very special post and the art form is Rock Painting dedicated to Yoga Day.
Last week, i.e. 21 June 2019, the 4th International day of Yoga was celebrated all over the world. It was started in 2015. #InternationalYogaDay.
Also, I have started doing Yoga in April this year and i can certainty feel the difference. One thing that happened is firstly, I have started to get up early i.e 5.30 a.m. in morning. Secondly, I feel energetic the whole day.

Since, it was Yoga day so i thought why not create something related to it and also, recently i had visited yoga capital of India, Rishikesh. What more can be an inspiration behind this Idea.

India is known as giver of Yoga to world and people from all over the world come here to learn this beautiful form of spirituality.

So, the idea was to paint a Mediating Yogi and what i did was i took a rock and started painting it.

Requirements

  • A Rock
  • Acrylic Colors
  • Brushes
  • Water

Procedure

Take any rock and clean it with water. Let the water dry and then start applying white acrylic color or gesso or primer on it. 2 cotes will be enough. Then start applying other colors as directed in video below. So let’s start Rock Painting.
